Support for Schools

At Learn with Confidence, we seek to offer support to schools who have students on-roll that struggle to attend their settings.

We aim to work in collaboration with schools to offer an alternative option to those students who refuse school and enable them to continue with their learning, whether it be in the short term, or over a longer period.

At our centre, we provide students access to fully qualified and experienced teachers, in a calm and gentle setting, to aid students to regain confidence and improve their social or emotional health, before returning to reintegrate into their school community.

Our teachers are fully equipped to follow your school’s curriculum, schemes of work and exam boards to ensure students stay on track and can return without gaps in their learning.

This will enable students to continue with education on return to your school as seamlessly as possible.

Learn with Confidence runs on a drop-in basis with sessions running Monday to Friday, 0930-1500. We provide a bespoke weekly timetable that caters for the subjects that each individual student needs to focus on, and in full communication with your school.

This is mostly undertaken in one-2-one teaching, or as part of a small learning group.

We cover a wide range of subjects, can keep work with your data and feedback processes to integrate with your school policies and procedures.

We are also able to liaise directly with your staff, if required.

We can offer up to 15 hours of weekly teaching per student.

We are working alongside West Sussex Education Department to access government funding that is available to those students who have EHCPs or pupil premium.

We are in the process of becomming a not-for-profit social enterprise, with our commitment to helping the young in the community of Horsham and local area.  Our charges cover our teaching and administration costs only.
